So with this post, I will be discussing how public relations stunts can sometimes have good intentions but end up being chaotic. This is a prime example of the stir that public relations can sometimes have. With this incident, LG decided to giveaway 20 phones in balloons that they were going to release. One person even stated that, "This is one of the most ill-thought-out we've heard of in recent years". I personally think that this could have had a more tragic ending, but luckily it didn't. Also, I think that marketing and public relations departments should have a more thorough review before implenting anything. Public relations is such a huge part of a companies image and should be taken seriously.
